Dark Wales Tours aim to give a memorable and atmospheric experience and for all guests to enjoy themselves, in order for that to happen these rules must be adhered to at all times.
- All tours take place at night and in the dark. We will often use torches and lanterns to guide us and for safety/atmospheric purposes. However large sections of the tour will be in the dark. (If you do become uncomfortable or disorientated at any stage due to the darkness please let us know and we can either put lights on or find a place for you to sit down, either on a chair or on the floor)
- These tours are NOT Ghost hunts or paranormal investigations and we do not attempt any communication techniques and the use any 'EMF' machines or any other 'ghost hunting' equipment is NOT permitted. There are also no actors or plants ready to jump out and scare us.
- All health and safety rules and regulations for our venues will be explained in detail before each tour. Listen to the guide at all times and keep to any designated pathways/walkaways where appropriate. It is however ultimately your own responsibility for your safety and well being on all tours. Should an accident or injury occur due to your own negligence or by not following the rules and safety guidelines outlined by your guides then Dark Wales Tours can accept no responsibility for said injuries.
- You are solely responsible for your personal items/equipment at all times, this includes vehicles you may travel in. We cannot take responsibility for any damage that may occur to your vehicle or other personal item. When travelling by car there will more often than not be some kind of parking option available but again leaving your vehicle is entirely at your own risk. You travel to and from each location at your own discretion.
- Large parts of our tours will take place outside regardless of weather conditions unless they present a major risk to health and safety or the route is disrupted in anyway.
